PSI Careers Universities Committee

PSI Careers Universities Committee is looking for two new members. The successful candidates will help develop further links with universities (through our university contacts) and students (via the PSI student membership and university contacts), publicise careers in medical statistics and the medical statistics apprenticeship. The committee is particularly keen to reach students early in their undergraduate degrees who may not be aware of medical statistics as a career. PSI Training Committee

The PSI Training Committee are looking for new members to join our team. The Committee organises around 3-4 training courses, held either virtually or and in-person, each year. The Committee represents many different pharmaceutical companies and CROs. It provides a great networking opportunity and the chance to work with different statisticians across the industry. You will organise and facilitate the courses, bringing new ideas and a new network, and help to increase learning and understanding in the industry. If you are interested and would like more information, please contact Nigel.Howitt@fortrea.com.

PSI Small Populations SIG

The Small Populations Special Interest Group is looking to increase its membership in 2024. If you are interested in the challenges associated with drug development for rare diseases and other small populations such as paediatrics, why not join our SIG? We are a group of statisticians from industry, academia and regulatory bodies who meet once a month to share experiences, discuss relevant publications and guidance for industry, and develop resources for other statisticians.
